A good days work!

In preparation for Flea Market Tuesday I have stripped and painted a chair, made a cushion for said chair, painted a small book shelf, a box, prettied up the box, painted a hopper, a plant stand and a mirror.  Just fitting it in the car now may be the biggest challenge!!!!

Christmas Excitement

My dear friend SPW is taking me to a little treasure trove in deepest darkest Somerset today.  A place she discovered many years ago for vintage treasures, which need a little rejuvenation (I know how it feels!)  I feel like a kid at Christmas, wondering what I may find at the bottom of my Christmas stocking!!!  Will be back later with some photos, hopefully!  Wish me luck!!!

A Productive Day!

I don't know about you but I find time flies like never before and I struggle to get everything done.  Perhaps I'm just getting older and slower!!!!

But with the kids off school and a nice sunny but windy day I managed to achieve quite a bit, which is quite satisfying!

The rescued chair has been painted and recovered with lovely old Greengate fabric, my lovely vintage deck chair find has been recovered with the lovely fabric found at Dairy House Textile Fair.

I even managed to produce some pretty little lavender bags from some delicate lace coasters and lace, also found at the fair!

Have a stand at Shaftesbury Town Hall tomorrow, so hope to sell lots!!!!

Welcome to Lottie Loves Vintage

What a lovely, sunny spring day!

Made all the nicer with a trip to Dairy House Antiques and their annual textile fair!

Too many beautiful things!  It always amazes me how much beauty there is from our vintage past!

I also did the car boot sale today and was delighted to find a vintage deck chair / lounger!

And as fate would have it I managed to buy some vintage canvas for it at the textile fair!  A good day was had by all I think!

Looking forward to this blogging thing and talking to many like minded souls xxx
